In keeping with its statutory mandate to arrange programs and displays to foster and encourage the wide use of books and other resources, the Library Board will use display cases to help publicize programs, events, resources, areas of the collection and community developments it deems of interest to the public. The Library Director may invite other groups and individuals in the community to assist in developing such displays. Non-profit community groups or individuals may suggest topics for consideration, and may lend items to the Library for display, but if, in the Library Director’s judgment the suggested display is not of a scientific, historical, economic, literary or other useful subject meeting the purposes set forth herein, the Library Director shall not accept such topics or items for display.
